Skinny Dipping With Our Clothes On
Skydiving at night in an Olympic-sized pool,
our hands float tandem,
as the moon draws a cloud bath.
Snorkels below, we breathe
rain stick tracheotomies.
Gently lift my suction-cup goggles;
I am in a hotel room
with my wife.
Today we are having an affair.
Tomorrow we will skinny-dip
in a Willow Lake,
wearing weeping silks and laughing linens.

You have some lovely images here, and I am wondering if your under the water scene has to do with this nature of drowning ourselves oppressively in a notion of false love....hence the clothes still being on while we should be naked...hmm...and we are surrounded in sentiments of sorrow and joy...kahil gibran says that our joy is our sorrow unmasked, and that our joy and sorrow are truly inseperable, we cannot have one without the other.
